How soon after my accident must I bring a case involving spinal cord injury?

For a spinal cord injury case the statute of limitations is one year from the date of injury IF the cause was non car crash related.  If the spinal injury is related to a car crash the statute of limitations is two years from the date of the crash or two years from the date of the last PIP payment.  Don’t delay in hiring a lawyer.  When people call me with a few weeks before the statute is run the risk of something going wrong is too high.  I don’t take those cases.  Alternatively, I can adequately prepare to tackle a spinal cord injury and provide helpful advice if retained early.
