Mr. Dettman has always represented victims. He is a former felony prosecutor. After leaving the public sector he worked at a Louisville injury firm before beginning work at the Dettman Law Group.

Education and Personal
While in law school at the Stetson University College of Law, Mr. Dettman was a member of the law review, deans list, and honor roll. He worked for a federal judge, interned at the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs, received the highest grade in advanced legal research, and was a summer associate at a fourteen partner personal injury complex litigation law firm. Prior to that Mr. Dettman graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Political Science. Brian has visited 63 countries and lived in South Africa, Australia, and aboard the M.V. Explorer. When not in the office he is with his wife, three daughters, and two sons. He enjoys playing ice hockey, Gaelic football, and soccer in local sports leagues, watching the Cards and Bats, coaching his kids sports, and surfing whenever he gets the chance.
