Background
I resolved a litigation case for $275,000.00 yesterday. The original offer was $22,000.00. This doesn’t happen every day and every case is different. However, I’m proud of the result so I’m discussing in my personal injury blog.
My client is a very nice woman that works the line at an auto manufacturer. She has been there nearly twenty years and is unbelievably hard working. In 2015 she rented a vehicle to drive down and watch the Louisville Cardinals play a football game. An out of state trucker hit the rented vehicle and caused a decent impact.
Treatment
Initially my client treated at the chiropractor. Pain subsided, but did not go away so she sought follow up case with a neurosurgeon and spine surgeon. She eventually underwent a lumbar surgery.
Litigation
We litigated the case. The case did not resolve at mediation a few months ago. Through negotiation on all sides we were able to resolve the case. My client is happy knowing she can move into the new year having reached a resolution. This case is an example of the hard work my law firm does.
